A mathematical reflection of God's authority multiplied by itself (12 x 12). 144 marks the Fulfillment of Covenant, the successful gathering of God's chosen people across human history.

The number also serves as the baseline for the 144,000, a group mentioned in Revelations 7 & 14. Thus, marking a boundary of absolute protection of people that belong exclusively to God and cannot be corrupted.
